On July 16th, our club headed to Alton Illinois for the Southern Illinois Mustang Associations all Mustang and Ford Show. It was a great day to beat the upcoming heat advisories that were to arrive the following day.
The heat did scare away most of our members as we only had seven registered cars and didn't come close to the club participation prize which was won by our friends from the Show-Me Mustang Club.
Members with cars entered included Jim Biermann, Mark Carey, Terry Koch, Burt Pennington, John Sullivan, Mark Wisbey and Bob Layton. Members coming to spectate included Cindy Ahrens, Mike McCalister, Gary Burch, Jim Kinzel and Bart McNail.
